Its as serious as you want it to be. Personally I think the whole scenario from the start is rather childish, maybe the poll reflects that fact, however if you vote your feelings/opinions will undoubtedly be acknowledged.

I'm with Gary. Its a personal disagreement between them so they should be able to sort it out for themselves.
Childish way of sorting this out by agreeing to a public poll.

that was a serious suggestion i dont think they suggested it so you
