Re: Water Pump Controllers

For those with 3 button 3 Digit pump controllers.

Have you noticed that in the cold weather that the battery does not seem to last so long per charge? or the controller flashes BAT more often?

We believe that the cold weather will effect how the water flows EG it flows slower resulting in the pump working harder for the same flow rate.
The harder the pump works the higher the current draw and voltage loss leading to less time per charge.

In the cold weather keep your batteries charged up and check for any loose - damaged or broken cable also any corroded connectors.
Poor connections will increase the volt drop down the cables. For more info go to our web site and look at the FAQ section under the support Tab or contact the distributor
