You need to do it again with an Oil finish. Use the PolxOil Rapid (Satin) If not it will need sanding back then a Barrier Seal product applied to block any oil residues then you can apply a polyurethane lacquer. You cant use normal floor finish on bare wood especially not on top of oil. Trying to strip out the oil with floor stripper would cause damage to the boards.

Contact Stuart at Osmo he will be able to point you in right direction of how to refurb this finish.

Its very easy to apply.

This was an engineered oak.
We took off the alu.oxide finish and applied Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid (Satin)

The restaurant belongs to a Tarkett rep who told me he had engineered oak boards.

I havent seen it in the flesh. It was one of those rare occasions where we priced by phone due to the distance from us.
