Hi gents

I do a lot of this in my current job, but a post on the other just occurred to me some fellas are not so up on this.

Do many of you fellas PAT test your portables etc.

:-[ :P ::) ???i dont pat test myself but i get my machine serviced every6 months and its pat tested then. Mind you i get terrible static shocks on nylon carpets it looks like i walk funny :-X

I am sure all you chaps use a RCD in your mains lines eh , remember you can't guarantee the customer has not put a 6 inch nail in the fusebox.

If you fry little timmy on a wet carpet becauce a mains lead has been damaged , you will not be popular.

I would recommned you all get an RCD.
