fogwash advice please
« on: October 28, 2011, 03:40:24 pm »
So I've finally got to using my fogwash-few questions and advice please....

1/ what settings do you use on the three dials (winter summer/gas and water)

2/ as soon as I turn the water flow dial above a third, the boiler cuts-any reason why?

3/i can get hot water out of the external port, but as soon as I connect the reel, the fogwash cuts out again. Any ideas why?

Thanks, Steve

I have mine set on winter/water on min & gas about 1/4 turn from min,
This will be quite hot.

The heater will cut out if you turn the water up, as there isnt enough flow.

Not sure about the last question ??

Yes, too much water flow and it won't ignite - find where it works and make a mark on the casing.
Mine likes to blow through the pressure release valve for some reason - too much pressure for it but I can't back it off 'cos I'm using microbore.

The hot water makes the hose swell, which inturn increases the pressure, comrs flying out
