Does 4 monthly = 2 weekly?! New
« on: November 05, 2005, 08:41:00 pm »
obviously monthly is 12 cleans a year
4 weekly is 13 a year

even if you say monthly to the customer, do you then adjust it to 4 weekly for your callendar? do the customers comment on this?

i think 4 weekly sounds more frequent than monthly somehow (more frequent than it actually is), and monthly seems more orderly, so i am more prone to say monthly as to stop people saying "4 weekly sounds too often, how about 6 weekly"

but monthly i suspect creates more organising. do the computer softwares not do it by weeks?

maybe 12 4-weekly cleans makes sense as then you make space for your holiday!  ;D

what do you think?

I think you wonder too much........maybe

If anyone gets too picky over 1 or 2 days early then maybe there not worth the worry! :)

your thinking too much

you may say 4 weeks or monthly, BUT i never get them done in that time anyways, you get a round of say "4 weeks" then you lose a odd day here and there with weather / illness or days off, it soon slides to 5 weeks

BUT you never say 5 weeks, as when you get the good weather and nothing goes wrong, you MIGHT, just MIGHT get around in 4 weeks

I take 6 weeks, i tell them between 4 and 6 weeks :)

yeah, i can see its a bit of an odd question

i'm cleaning part time, so i'm trying to work out the best structure. if a job is missed one day then its a whole week later before i do it. so generally jobs are actually done 4 weekly exactly.

so yeah, maybe being a bit neurotic, but just got the impression that people might think i'm coming too often.

 ::) neurotic!
