I buy the parts and my local repair man does it for between £10 and £25 then I know its a safe job

Where from Ian, tried the local electrical
trade shop and all they have are the big ones
for domestic immersion heaters.

Should be an easy enough DIY. Refitting is reversal of removal and all that...  If you're confident at that sort of thing, of course... :)

Don't want to get it out then not be able to
put a new one in rendering the machine useless.
Don't they sell drop in immersion heaters locally?

As long as you place it with a like for like component, it will be fine. Just get the right tools for the job mate and you'll be reet.... :)

Think I've found the fault.
One of the spade connectors looks to have
burned itself out so will try a new connector.
Funny though the green power light still came
on as did the thermostat temperature light.

To clarrify  I usually obtain parts from somewhere like Wood bridge but then get local Electrical Repair guy to fit
