Solo-Boost????????
« on: October 11, 2011, 08:08:49 pm »
Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how good this pre-spray additive is? I currently add citraboost if needed but someone mentioned this?

Soluboost?

A fantastic additive to any solution that isn't achieving the desired results. I always have some to hand when things aren't quite going my way... :)

I've never tried Citraboost, so can't compare.....

solu-boost is an oxydiser and thus increases the molecular activity of the agent being used........

Yes it does work......

cannot compare it to citraboost as I have never used that....

Justin,

IIRC soluboost is the equivalent of oxibrite, not citraboost.

You can mix both oxibrite and citra boost to give a monster pre-spray.

I usually mix with Ultrapac to give maximum performance on extremely heavy soiled light colours.

Am I right in thinking that oxibrite can be mixed with the rinse detergent?

I wouldn't say there's any point in that.  An oxidiser needs contact time to do its job, hence being added to pre-spray ;)

Just mix as directions on tubs. Think its 1 scoop to 5l for the oxibrite and 30ml/litre for the Soluboost plus whatever pre-spray you want to use.

My preference is Ultrapac as I already said but I would imagine Powerburst or Trafficlean or multi pro would also work.

Just use it in an hour or add in a half dose of oxibrite.

Works great on trashed polyprop.

The traffic lane cleaner provides the surfactancy, oxibrite gives the oxidising action for the organic soils and citra boost for oil based soils.

Sodium Carbonate Peroxyhydrate the pure ingredient has 101 uses caution advised it is equivalent to 27.5% Hydrogen peroxide. not sure how pure the carpet cleaning stuff sold is  probaly contains lots of fillers

Mix it as you need as it goes off after about 30 minutes then you can see what damage you have done :o

It breaks down to oxygen, water and sodium carbonate upon decomposition. It is an environmentally safe bleaching agent. Sodium Percarbonate offers many of the same functional benefits as liquid hydrogen peroxide. It dissolves into water rapidly to release oxygen and provides powerful cleaning, bleaching, stain removal and deodorizing capabilities in addition to being highly effective at killing bacteria,

Store it air tight upside down as this product can break down forning a hard clump losing its oxidising ability.

None in my experience. Same with Chemspec Energizer.

As its used at the prespray stage contact time is controlled.
