Fitting RO Unit
« on: November 04, 2005, 06:40:42 pm »
Ok.......As I haven't asked a silly question for mmmm about a week now, I thought i'd do something about it.  ??? I'm thinkin of putting my RO unit under kitchen sink. Is this (a) the dumbest thing you've ever heard :-\ (b) Ok, but run the obvious risk of a leak now and then.....or(c) No prob whatsoever. If it is ok...........does it make much noise?(I can just hear the misses now goin on about the constant humming noise....or whatever noise they might make) Well nearly "another" up and running WFP'er. Your thoughts please peeps ;)

hi
I have been WFP for 4 weeks now. I set my RO up under the sink. I ordered a longer outlet pipe and it goes through a hole in the wall to the rainbut outside. I put the filter inside as I didn't want it freezing up in winter and also I have no shed or anywhere to put one in the vicinity of the house so it was the only logical solution.

yeh, it was the winter thing that was getting me thinking. I was just concerned about health concerns having in in kitchen. I've got a plan, but i don't wanna start drilling holes everywhere if it's a non starter.
