I picked up a nice 6 seater Nissan Primastar (53) for a total of £1900 and my Combo. I have plenty room for the gear (including oven cleaning equipment) and the 3 kids and the wife if she fancies coming along for the ride...

As long as you do a good job, I'm pretty sure people will see you for what you are, a family business.... I would stick with what you got until you're in a position to buy a van...

Saw a Nissan Primastar the other day, its bigger than our Zaffera, is it 6 seats or 5?
nice though.
Zaffera was 6k when we got it last year, don't know what we could sell it for now.
