Karcher or other transfer pump
« on: April 14, 2011, 07:15:21 pm »
For the last 6 years or so, I've carried my WFP water in square 25 litre drums, [white plastic type]

My bulk water is soon to be stored a bit further from the van than now - it's in two Wickes water butts, and I intend to have a single tank in the van - I only travel short distances from home, so I only need about 150 litres at a time.

I'm after a bit of advice about a submersible pump to stand in a butt and transfer water to the van.

Both the butt and the van are on the same level, about 30 metres apart; I've seen a Karcher Water Butt Pump advertised; has anybody had experience with one of these, or any other recommendations?
