Anyone use a pump to pull the water...
« on: August 14, 2011, 07:09:44 am »
Ive got a few places where i can pick water from now, ive got my main one with a sub pump in the one and been using barrels at other.

I was wondering if their was a 12v pump that i could fit in the van that would pull the water to it, its quite a distance so it would need to pull pretty well, and quickly if possible. This way i could just have the one pump in the van and pull the water from each place.

Possible?

Cant be a sub pump. It needs to be a pump on its own.

LJThorpe, right,

I have 4 places i can go and fill my van up with pure water from. All ibc's.

I want a strong pump in my van that i can pull the water from the ibc's thats 12v to my tank in the van.

Get it now?

yeah do now, ;D probably going to be a problem because the pump wont prime if its drawing air ,it needs to be drawing water to work
