the fella doing the radio ad

who was he and did it work out for him. Hopefully it worked out for him but if it didn't i don't imagine it setting him back as he seemed to have a fairly decent business.

He's on about Lee Prior's Radio campaign. Attracting new customers to then sell on to subscribed businesses within the area generating the work.

Don't think it worked out a very good return for the costs involved but things might have picked up from it.

I say fair play to him for having a go. Lots on here mocked it but then there are always lots of negative comments when someone's trying to improve themselves and their business.

fair play to the guy for trying something different. Hope it worked out for him but if not then he can always say he tried it.

indeed I did try

There was nothing wrong with the idear and that part of it worked fine. The radio simply did not drive enough people onto the website.

Sometimes an idear can be great but that doesnt mean its a viable business, as I have said before Im glad I gave it a go.

In the mean time my existing business is flat out and growing every week. 37 new customers in the last 2 weeks from our famous leaflet campaigns.

Also took on a new canvasser last week who starts tonight so im very excited to see how she does this week.

I am currently working on franchising my business and will be ready by the end of the year. I am working very hard to offer a great franchise package.

I am also helping a friend start up his on business for the first time, a leaflet distribution company!

so its fair to say im never standing still. and yes I do still have the car!  ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys

Hi Lee,

Good to hear your business is going well.

How long have you been window cleaning?

Can you elaborate on this famous leafleting campaign?

Cheers,

Caleb

Hi Lee

I get a lot of calls from houses in the Crawley Gatwick areas and I always tell them to find you on Iwantawindowcleaner.com
as we do not clean domestics ourselves.

I did think it was odd when some window cleaners did slate him when he was trying to do something new. Do these people think that everything that Alan Sugar or any of the dragons tried turned to gold?? Course not, some ideas failed and some are successful. At least Lee tried it and he is more likely to be successful than not as he is prepared to take a risk! I only wish he could spell the word 'Idea' and not put a but a bloody 'r' on the end of it!!  ;D
