Which system should we buy
« on: April 05, 2011, 05:02:14 pm »
Hi All

we are just about to upgrade to a WFP system, we are traditional window cleaner at the moment and have a client base of about 230+  We have had 4 demo's, we have basically got it down to Brodex and Ionics.  We would welcome peoples experience on their experience with both companies, and both systems, what flooring (Speedliner v Protecta Kote), poles  etc, both seem prettry good, there is a difference in price but putting this aside we want to know what other window clearners out there have used  have and what their experience of the systems, service, aftersales has been.

Would appreciate your comments.
Thanks
D&J

Out of the two, not Brodex, but then neither would we chose Ionics tbth.

Brodex just never lasts the course in our experience, and at least out of the two Ionics should see you through a good few years if you're looking after the system with regular maintenance.

Speedliner all the way, its more expensive, but it will last far far longer and pay for itself with basically no maintenance whatsoever.
I've seen too many people not apply Protecta Kote correctly, and within 6 months its peeling like crazy.

Whatever you choose, hope it all goes well for you.

Build yer own - it's a tank a pump and a brush - simples; just ask how in window cleaning issues not here where it's pretty slow.
It's a game of three halves!

It needs livening up with some silly posts and irrelevant links to you tube.

Hi d&j my cousin has just swapped his round over to wfp and he uses the brodex trolley's with 25ft hydra poles and he finds this the best kit for doing residentials and the odd commercials and he's had no problems what so ever with the kit also we where talking to another window cleaner who had a van system and he said he's gonna go over to the trolley as it will make it easier to do residentials with

I always go with the quality than quantity. So i prefer brodex. Been in the service for quite long now and have always used better quality tools.
