I've literally had phonecalls asking for just that but I'm not putting my name to that sort of thing.
I don't blaim the tenant, afterall they are just trying to maximise the spend against the deposit money.

I have been asked in the past to produce a receipt for £25 before, no work at all involved... I turned them down saying it could be detrimental to my business.

 

I've had that before! I didn't have my recipt book on me that day and the lady chased me up about it too! silly moo.

With carpets set a good price from the start and do a good job, expect them to be worse than the average domestic and you won't be surprised.

With general cleaning it's easy to get into the "he said she said" So have a sheet where it is clear EXACTLY what is to be cleaned. it all needs noting down and a proper estimate. I charge £15 ph and pay £7.50 if it's just the skirtings and a cupboard or too i'd do them before the carpets and charge an hour.

Rubbish. Unless you have a license you can't drop trade rubbish at the tip, so you may need a skip if there's a bit of it, worth checking prices in your area. If there's just a couple of bags drop it in the hosehold wheelie bin.

I do the same as Simon, i send cleaners in an hour before i arrive to clean carpets, just priced one today, empty 4 bed house, 4 carpets, 1 double oven and a light clean, £300 + vat
i add on the 10% they educt from us
