Been reading alot about a vac booster. (ashbys) to add to my mytee speedster 1005. Nigel w idea of the waste tank mod appeals more than the way it was intended (exhuast) fit.

I would buy another waste tank lid,

My conserns are,

1) would the 3rd vac put stress on my waste tank?
2) would it fit ok  and hook onto the handle, i say this because the speedster is more or less the same as the diamondback which the booster was intended for.

Any thoughs / opinions welcome.

What psi do you run at when cleaning?
What Vac motors do you have on the machine now, 1200 W etc?

machine is 450psi, i normally operate at around 250psi.

Vac motors are  Mytee 3 stage & Lamb ametek 3 stage in parellel with 2" hose.
Just wanted to add a booster to run a longer hose and more umph.

Your tank will be fine, You are not increasing the lift by adding
a booster. you are increasing the CFMs.
There will be no more pressure on the tank than there is now.
the only difference is you will reach peak lift quicker. So if you
put your hand on the pipe and it takes for the sake of argument
2 seconds to reach peak lift where it will pull the tank sides in a little.
With the booster it will drop the time to say 1.5 seconds.
With parallel vac motors you only have the lift of one motor. If one
pulls 140" and the other pulls 137", you have 140".
