ive been toying with the idea of getting a better van with 3 seats so i can use it outside of work hours but i just dont see it working out for me.i really miss having a car!
so im thinking of keeping with a smallish van(connect/combo)that can hold a 350-400L TANK and getting a small run around or (dare i say it!)a mondeo!!i loved my last mondeo i had it for 6 years!
its just 2 lots of tax, mot, insurance and repairs etc when i could put this money towards a better van.
1 decent van or 2 half decent vehicles?i suppose the van will only get used for work so that will keep wear and tear to a minimum and i could go collecting and out and about in the car.
when my vans full of water i dont drive it anywhere but to work.
i am earning more with wfp but a lot of the extra profit has been swallowed up with buying equipment/insurances etc although that will change over the next year or two due to already shelling out on initial investment in wfp and having all the equipment i need at the moment.
how do some of you guys go on with families running a van?surely you need a car as well?
life was so much simpler when i was trad!1 car, minimal equipment, low overheads!no way im i going back to the ladders thats for sure though!
