WFP Cleaning in the Rain
« on: September 06, 2011, 11:35:22 pm »
Im looking for some feedback on working with wfp in the rain, having been cleaning for a couple of years now with wfp,i'm of the opinion that as long as its not smashing it down(look at bit of a lolley pop cleaning windows in hard rain!!!) you can work with wfp in the rain and it doesn't affect the quailtity of the window cleaning service,my views on this are that rain water in effect is pure water and so does not affect the end results like it would with traditional window cleaning with the soap resisdue reacting with the rain and so causing spots, although this is just a thought i have come up with????am i correct to assume this or is the quality of the work compramised when working in the rain, all ideas and thoughts would be greatly apprie'..............
Thanks
Andy :-\ :-\

I share the same view , some customers object , but on the whole we re using 99.9% pure water and rain water is 95% pure water , ( so i`m led to believe) ,, carry on regardless untill you told or asked to stop .

I will uaually work in light to medium rain but as pointed out many customers don't like this,   Ive actually started telling all new customers I pick up that I clean in the rain and give them a rain garauntee that if after rain their not happy I willo come and clean them again.

commercial is different as I would clean commercial in a storm if need be,   I do a wetherspoons pub every week and the last 2 weeks its belted down but the manager never questions me cleaning in rain.

if only domestic was the same.

yep yep... new customers get told I work in the rain, providing it aint humping it down, and I explain why. So far they've all given in and life is sweet, just some of my established older customers dont like it but hey-ho, as long as I can do a bit in the rain all is sweet. Lets hear it for wfp  ;D

As a glasses wearer, I often find it easier to just remove them when rain is fairly persistent (put them back on for the drive betweens of course).
