starting out WFP
« on: June 06, 2011, 10:49:48 pm »
hi i'm looking for some advice please .......my situation is i have a pretty small round (about £500 per month) which i do part-time in mornings, in the afternoons i do some courier work, it pays so bad that i am thinking of buying WFP gear and doing it full time (pretty sure i could expand what i've got reasonably fast ). The main reason i'm looking towards WFP is i fell of the ladder in the winter and my back (and nerves) haven't been right since.

I have a fiesta van for the courier work, would it be possible to use this , would a tank / poles etc. fit in it?
Any advice on what sort of kit i should be looking for please , i'm thinking of trying to pick up the gear (possibly 2nd hand ) for under £1000 , is this realistic?

Loads of questions i know but i'm pretty confused by it all at the moment!! any advice gratefully received
Thanks
scott

well enough about you being confused....... :)

you can get a diy system from cleaning warehouse for bout £700
is your van the fiesta courrier van?
would be good as you wont get your poles in the other one,
unless you have a roof rack.

amny thanks

Thanks colin, did you mean something like this

http://www.thecleaningwarehouse.co.uk/budget-pure-water-systems-1302-p.asp

or is this a cheap / poor product?

regarding the van unfortunately i have the car derived fiesta van but i'm looking to get  roofbars on it. Is it ok to carry the poles on the roof?

thanks

this is how lots of wfp cleaners start out with kits like this
you just rachet strap it down in the back of you van
