just bought a business
« on: May 23, 2011, 08:35:58 pm »
After a week off thinking it over and haggling ive just bought a business to bring together with my own business.
I have bought it from a family member who has gone back to a full time job as he did not really like the type of work , its a conservatory cleaning business already set up and running full list off customers waiting to be quoted and still getting calls. All which has to be passed onto me untill i get telephone numbers swapped over on the website
All equipment from conny ladders all wfp gear a range off upvc cleaning products and ive lost count at how many leaflets there is and website.
Now I've cleaned conny via the wfp way but i have used the conny ladders at the weekend and get a much better and cleaner finish and i also charged a more than i usually do for doing it this way so im looking forward to bring this business on board and pushing it to its full potential

  hi
at the risk of sounding stupid how does a conny ladder work.  does it clip on to the ridge like a roof ladder or bridge the whole thing?

and ru using chemical or just wfp .

 thanks

If you google them you will see a picture the part which lies on the roof has bars across which sit on the white conservatory roof bars . The ladders I've got have adjustable feet allowing you to adjust the height and adjust them to the level off the ground also has a sliding kneeler section.

we clean conny,s to a good standard for around £80 i was never sure if people would pay double that for a similar job . be interesting to see how you get on with it and what service and depth of clean your offering.  good luck with it aim for the very top end of the market could be a winner with return customers and a way in to service their windows as well at top end prices.
