« on: May 05, 2011, 12:06:28 pm »
Hi all

If there are any oven cleaners out there I'd like to pick your brains........ I'm thinking about going on a training course and starting a small oven cleaning business. I'd like to hear from anyone who has done this as i need to know a couple of things....how long did it take to get enough customers, where did you train, can u make a decent living out of it, is better to buy or lease a van etc :)

I clean ovens but to be honest with ya I hate em.
Done quite a few kitchen cleans too and the money isnt that good on par with the time scale to complete.
You usually have to do them at unsociable hours and 9 time out of 10 the ovens wont have cooled down so more time waiting 4 that.
if you use a caustic bath u need a fairly large van plus the obvious ppe.
If i was you id sub oven cleans and just take a cut
