tds is not affected if left in barrels FACT!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Agreed. 

Pure water is pretty robust stuff.  My barells look filthy, with algae growing on the inside walls of them, but the water is still zero TDS and windows always come up lovely.
