We have had people going round selling the stickers door to door. I was struck by the irony of that one!

The no calling zones are not legally enforcable but you might get some flak. I have always delivered leaflets to no junk mail houses and once had some bloke open the door and shout "Hey can't you read?". But it was only the once.

trippy its your attitude that needs changing!if you think doom and gloom, recession, everybody losing jobs, money being tight, rocketing fuel prices etc,etc then itll infect your whole mind!!!

just knock on if you want more work in that particular area!what have you got to lose!!and be confident!!!there are plenty of people that are not struggling for money and will pay for a good window cleaning service. ;D ;D

i never take any notice of the no canvassing stickers EVER!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

HA HA thats exactly what i do. sometimes i apologise as soon as they open the door and say " sorry i only noticed your sign after i knocked" then give them the reason why im there. everyone seems quite happy with this....

I just ignore the "no canvassers, no cold callers" signs... They are never usually a problem.

If someone at the door does mention it, I just say I'm not selling anything but just leaving a card with them.

cold calling no thank yous may put off pretend canvassers to to pro they mean that the punter is likely likey to have been bothered and often use the sign to my advantage as it can be turned into a bonus for me
