I THINK ITS A CHEEK TO CHARGE YOU SEWAGE RATE WHEN THE WATER YOU PUT BACK INTO THE GROUND IS PURER THAN WAT OUR RAIN WATER IS,SHOULD GET A DISCOUNT
GAZA
slightly off topic, But, if you look at your water bill, they charge for your rainwater from gutters into downpipes into drainage. Not supposed to go into same drain as waste water from kitchen etc.
But..
If you live in a new-ish property, builders put a soakaway for your rainwater, not into your drain/sewer.
Water company still charge you for rainwater into sewer!!!
Not a big deal per house..maybe less than .50p per week. multiply that by all the houses with soakaways!!! What a profit for doing nothing.
And you thought you could make money?
