What you using it on mate?

It's about 25 quid for 25 kg sack local to me. Mistral I think were about 40 quid when I seen last year. Tried it on a roof without moss just general pollution and didn't work as fast as I'd expected unless I didn't mix in enough with the hot water.

The American's love it.

mate im using it on decking. apparently its easier to work with than hypo on decking, and safer for the wood.

Safer to wood? I know a lot of talk that you can damage wood using hypo but I don't buy into it. Percarb will clean but not as quick as hypo, don't see how it is "easier" as dwell time is longer.

I havent used either on decking, but ill take any advice i can get. I was just under the impression that hypo could damage the wood. If thats not the case, ill just use hypo

How are you going to clean the deck and what mix ratio are you going to use and what wood is it?

Well, the two other decks i have cleaned previously have been hardwood. Ive just used a a standard fan jet, but i was looking to get them done abit quicker, and hopefull a better result.
ive never used hypo before but i know its nasty stuff, obviously everyones got to have a first time for everything, so what would be a good non damaging ratio to use?

I agree. I'd read a few times on different forums about hypo rotting decking. Every decking job we do we spray with hypo and work in with a brush. Comes up great and give a good rinse. First time we tried on decking was my own and there's never been a problem with the wood.

You won't damage the wood mate. With decking we do a half and half mix in a 12 liter back pack sprayer.
Get your PPE on and BE careful when tipping the drum, let the drum down gently after pouring otherwise you'll get a speckle in your eye like I did and go to A&E. Or get a plastic hand pump.

And more importantly don't use the same pump with HF. HF and Hypo is a nasty combo.

Im just lookng to see if there is a way to get them as good as they can be.. ive used just the pressure washer and its come out well, just on the lookout for an easier option and better results..
