Anyone using yell.com and getting decent results? Got the local rep keep pestering me at the moment. I was going to pack up the yp ad altogether except the ncca corporate ad.
Not sure if yell.com actually brings much work in. I`m sure, if I paid the amount the ad costs in stamps and wrote to all my existing customers, I`d get a much better result!

yell.com has been my biggest source of price-shopping time wasters.  I stopped it a few years ago, the only impact has been less price shoppers :)

I have a friend who works with an accountancy firm who was spending a LOT with Yell to be at the top for bath. Work gained didn't even pay for 10% of the advertising costs.

You can pop a free ad on though which I guess is worth it.

Clive,

I've just fired them off after 30 years or so of being in their directories and cancelled Yell.com too, just not worth the money, not when you think that if you spend £1 on advertising you should get at least £5 back, Yell don't even come close.
