Using a fitted water tank for WFP and Pressure washing?
«

I have 2 vans now and want to fix my pump to my older van and use the 350 litre tank for pressure washing BUT I also want to keep the wfp system in it for larger jobs or urgent window cleaning when my other vans tied up.
Clearly the untreated water from pressure washing would need to be drained completely so I can use pure water in it again for wfp.
Does anyone else do this or should I refrain from doing it? If I can is there anything I should know?

Have a drain valve and just run a few litres through to flush the raw water out, it will all go through the Di which will polish off any impurity

Just in the process of getting a new system.
All suppliers have agreed that this can be done, it's just a matter of me being exact with requirements as to additional inlet and outlet.
Flushing through the tap water is essential but if you've a wet vac you could speed this up by vaccing the dreggs out after draining.
