WC's working in the Dartford area

Hi guys, I know there are a few of you here and I'd like to have a chat if possible before we start canvasing.  I'd rather find out where you guys are working now so as to avoid treading on toes and wasting time.

Plus if we are asked to quote for obvious WFP work then I'd like to have local people to recommend as we currently only do traditional work.

ive got work in dartford just picked another job yesterday don't worry about treading on peoples toes just get out their and canvass but don't under price the work just to get the job the way i do it is count the windows as i walk round bay window i count as two windows then add 1 or 2 pound on top  ;D

Plety of glass for everyone.
Its a common misconception that an area is someones particular "patch"
You will NEVER find an area that hasnt got a window cleaner working round there already in my experience.
Price wise,just charge what YOU want,never mind what anybody else is doing or charging.
Canvassing-if they already have a WC i always say ok then,thanks for your time anyway.I would say 25% will ask for my leaflet "just incase he stops coming etc".

Cheers AC.  I just didn't want to waste time trying to pick up work on someone else's round.  Your right though, it has to be trial an error and lots of foot work to find the work.

Just a matter of time, thankfully I have a load of that at the moment  :)

Im just starting out myself and while im canvassing on a night other WC's are collecting in particular areas,they dont mind,were all there tp earn a living after all.
Ive heard of a couple of lads round here have being canvassing and apparently when theyre being knocked back as custy already has a wc,theyre asking how much and telling thm to "f*** em off,we're cheaper etc"
Scumbags.No need for it,and what a way to present yourself eh? effing and blinding while your trying to create a good impression??!!

Sounds like Chavs looking to supplement their DOLE money.  Hopefully someone will get rid of them  ;D
