Best place for DI preferably filled
« on: February 15, 2011, 09:26:18 am »
i am taking over a round next week and need to produce water faster, so i am going to buy the vyair 400gpd.
but this doesnt come with a DI, and they are out of stock.  (4.6l £40, filled extra £26)

does anyone know of the best place for a prefilled DI, i dont have time to work out how to fill one right now.

empty seem to range from £30 - £130 for any size
and resin seems very expensive. thanks

size mate, the bigger the di vessel the less you have to change the resin. ;)

and if you get a 10" vessel you be changing the resin every week, while you get a 11ltr you change the resin once a year

As franky says you dont want to be faffing around changing resin in a small cartridge every few weeks.
You would be better off with an 11 ltr DI Vessel and be done with it. Should last around a year before needing a resin change.
I use DAQUA aswell and would recommend them.
No tap required before or after DI.
