didn,t get any info off here but to be honest i was a bit vague, just based the price on the job taking a hour each end and charged accordingly.

i guess you don't have a minimum charge? if you don't imo you should have one and then this imo would fall under that. the figure i often see s around £40 per visit if less then 3 hours in one go once a week.

i have found that customers don't like it as much if you say that'll be 2 hours at £20.00 per hour, but instead this site falls under our minimum charge which is £40.00. that way they accept you've got to charge to cover other bills and aren't just greedy charging £20.00 per hour.

before having a minimum charge i really disliked doing the small jobs that take 1 hours to do and you get just £14.00 as it was never worth it no matter how quick the job was. now they are some of my favourite as they're quick and decent money, especially when you can plan it so you've got one different one each night

We do a few of these for management companies and for 2 x 3 storey buildings we would charge in the region of £30 plus VAT.  It would of course be site survey dependant but as a rough guide this is what we would charge.

Total. Takes about 40 minutes.
