Hi all, I'm a newbie to the site so hello everyone  :)      I'm looking into starting up my own power wash/cleaning business. Could I ask power wash/cleaners on here how they got started, the best washer to buy for a single handed business ( im thinking of a hot water petrol powered machine )    Cheers.       Simon

Hi Simon,

Welcome to the forum! First bit of advice is to spend a bit of time checking old posts and making notes (i spent hours doing this) . I got all my start up equipment from Jan at Tech-Clean and even though it is my spare machine it is still going strong after 3 years! Get an idea of other local firms and there prices. And if you want a chat give me a call 07739 535648

Hope this helps ;)

Regards
Alan

Good time to start. Don't see why you need a hotbox whilst starting out. You'll be buying petrol, kerosene and diesel for this kit if you plan to run a petrol washer with a hotbox as well as a generator to run the burner fan and pump. Stick to cold and domestic work and work up slowly. Get a load of leaflets made up.
I started out with a petrol washer and moved onto diesels. 3-4 quid a day on cherry.

But I suppose it depends what money you've got to throw into it.
