Do Microfibres need washing b4 use
« on: February 14, 2011, 01:23:28 pm »
Hi all,

Just bought some microfibre cloths and I was just wondering do I need to wash them before their first use (like scrims) or are they ok without?

Thanks,

Dave

I would, with a squirt of Fairy Liquid, then a rinse. To use just mist slightly them when dry with small garden spray gun so that they can glide over the glass.

if just using for edging dont bother washing them, if using to clean panes of glass would give a quick wash first but not really necessary, just remember dont use fabric softener!

no need to wash microfibres before you use them for the first time.you dont need to "break them in" like scrims and DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER when you do wash them!itll ruin them.
