Hi all,
           after purchasing a wfps can anyone tell me what are the best ways of cleaning and leaving a great outcome. and how many cleans does it take to get the pristine.....

1st cleans can be tough, but once you rinse well and scrub like crazy they should come up ok. It will be slower than trad the first time, especially if you were using fairy liquid before. It does get much quicker on the 2nd and 3rd cleans though.

Cheers mate..... I only wanna use it for the top windows so i dont ave to go up a ladder..and hard to reach....ill do the bottoms the trad way...but thanks

give them a good first clean all round frames then every time you go it easy, makes you feel guilty taking the money of them

first time if you spend double the time scrubbing and rinsing.


4 -5 times with wfp and most windows will come up great with minimum effort.also they look fantastic!much better than trad especially upvc ones.

now maintenance cleans are a breeze as the windows are much cleaner and no soap residue in sight!!

Generally speaking thats true. But once the time is taken to get a window up to a good standard with WFP the re cleans should be vastly quicker and also leave the frame and glass to a lot higher standard than any other method.

i wouldnt agree with that myself as i think i can do the bottoms just as quick.just thhink youll still be carrying your water and your equipement wacking against your leg,i found it most uncomfortable wfp and carrying trad gear,but all the best.

I would advise you to go on a Matt Bateman course called: Window cleaning for dummies"It will wise you up and you will know it all.

i nearly always have my trad gear on me with a bottle on a belt even though im mostly wfp!doors and awkward access ground floor windows are easily cleaned by simply putting my pole down!!no need for carrying bucket!

depends what work im doing but this suits me on very compact estate work.
