no its a local building company, its mostly builders cleans and 4 storey apartment cleans. makes you sick when you see the company directors driving ferraris and 50k 4x4

Im going to duck and wait for the grenades to come over.

Companies work on a basis of priority suppliers - now please dont accuse me of being disrespectful of the trade, because Im not.

So they pay first the people they cannot do without, suppliers etc - and unfortunately like myself having worked in advertising, we have to wait for sometimes upto 6 months to get paid, because we are not a key supplier.  Our service has been and gone, been published.  Not saying they dont need advertising, but the publishing industry is on its knees so grateful for any crumb.

With regards to what you can do about it, chap before said, next clean I expect to collect a cheque.

Its very tiresome and very draining being told a load of stories.

Zaps your energy, but I know what your going to say, is they do pay eventually.........

Maybe to set up an appointment with the person who you originally signed the contract with, just to have a chat.

Just some thoughts thats all.

They know exactly what they can get away with

Yep and if asked to send the third copy of an invoice they never got to head office, thats lovely too

If I got paid tomorrow all that we are owed I could take a nice wee break - its really not fair but Kate is right - businesses pay who they need to pay first.

sucks doesn't it.
