just about to start up as trad in derby, looking for tips to help me get more work.. ???  THANKS

Flyers and loads of door knocking. Make sure you do a pukka job each time and the word will soon get about.

never rush in the erly days-a lot of customers are lonely and a 10 minute chat can reap more customers . besides you have all the time in the world and be sure you have WINDOW CLEANER +your number on your car windows-i raked in no end of work from that.

website at first mate in ya spare time, then a small van if ur going trad with sign writing on it, writing is cheap i paid about 36 all up off of ebay which im well chuffed with. its a good convo starter aswell when people see you. i only had mine on yesterday and i got ppl chatting about it saying its a bit cold and i say id still do yours if you want and they ask for a business card

Wear a simple uniform, have a shave and look smart! If you look good, people will think you are! You don't want to look like the local ' Rag man window cleaner', puts people off. Sounds 'old fash' advice, but believe me it works!
