just been on the coop bank site and they are doing faster payments in place of bacs and it seems like other banks are doing this method also
i ask my customers to put in the referance the first line of there address
on my santander account  for the ref it says faster payment folowed by customers surname and amount
eg,

       !!!!faster payment!!!! smith  £10.00

it says this on all my santander transactions  and it makes it hard work trying to sort out who has paid especialy when you get 2 diffrent names for the same address
can you please put down what other banks show

got a call  in sep of a customer a bit upset saying she diddnt owe 2 times her dad paid online when she was on holiday

why bother with online bank tranfers i find paypal so easy i send them an invoice via paypal and they pay within 14 days it's easy.

Plus when they do pay i've got it set up so that the email from paypal goes straight to my blackberry

i know that i get charged paypal fees but it's better than collecting if they haven't paid within 14 days i go to my paypal account and send the a reminder email take seconds
