replacement for brodex pump
« on: December 09, 2010, 10:10:20 pm »
Hello, i have a brodex 250 litre tank with brodex pump attached and plumbed in, This is then connected to their own variable speed controller. Apparently my pump doesnt have a pressure switch in-built. I am after a spare pump and like to get best value. Delivered the brodex is appx £120. It looks like a shurflo, same flow rate, same 100psi. So are their any clued in folk out there that could recommend a cheaper model than the brodex as a compatible spare? Just had a look and pure freedom have a shurflo(same spec),looks nearly identical but there a pressure switch wired in at the top, even with that this one is £65.05 plus vat(£76.43inc vat),a substantial price difference. Iknow i have nearly answered my own question so will be ringing pure freedom tommorrow but maybe someone knows where to ring and order a standard shurflo without pressure switch(if its compatible of course). Any replies gladly welcomed.

They all come with a pressure switch, you just have to dissconect it when you fit the flow controller, the controller takes over the presure regulating roll.
Williamses will explain how to do this, it's really simple.
