Good stuff for using in the van, but BEWARE!!!! This stuff causes S.T.S. (Spontaneous Tourettes Syndrome
It's soooo light and fluffy you'd think you could stick it to your van roof with no more than a bit of spit!!!.......... :'(but you end out needing high tensile toggle bolts to hold it in place!!!!!!!
Leave an 8 by 4 sheet propped against your van and the slightest gust of wind will leave you chasing it an absolute minimum of two fields and an uncountable amount of concealed [and very fresh] cow pats before getting stuck so high in an oak tree you could really do with the 35ft triple you lent to Tosh (over a year ago I might add) to retrieve it from the top of said tree....not that it happened to me I might add....I'm just saying....
Oh, and the bloody stuff isn't Staffordshire bull terrier proof either, they can run straight through the stuff without a care in the world or have enormous fun peicking up a carefully cut sheet (after a less carefully cut sheet was cut width ways rather then length ways [I blame minus 8 temperatures as it causes severe fogging of the brain] and munching it into a veritable snow storm as he charges joyously across the garden chased by 2 small brain dead Jack Russell's....and a tourettes inflamed window cleaner with a red face wielding a big stick!
You have no idea...trust me....PLEASE
Having said that; it is a good and cheap way of insulating your van...but you will also need to provide heat and it will then trap that heat, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
