So what are the Super lite poles like; for the price the 55ft version sounds good; " the lightest tele pole in the world "; are they any good?

Please don't tell me to get a modular pole as I don't fancy them; not adjustable enough for my liking

Dave Willis on matt's "cleeningforums" has one & is very impressed with it. I have a 25ft slx & 60ft SL2 (super-lite)

One thing to note though is that there are now TWO S-MAX versions. One has shorter sections which enables a shorter closed length but has a fatter base section. The other has thinner base sections but longer closed length (fewer sections). They now come standard with the new carbon goosneck, which I have & is like helium!

So, to be honest I can't personally comment on the SMAX but going on my experience with other Gardiner products I don't think you would be disappointed.
