i got 3 x 300watt heaters and it get my 650L tank and it get the water temp up to 15deg

Dan,
I drop 2 in my tank over the cold spell, especially if the van ain't going to move for a couple of days in this weather.
It will raise the temperature enough to prevent the tank freezing but it takes a while to get warm. Not the ideal solution i'm afraid.

Yes they will heat the water up to what they say on the website, just in this weather its understandably going to take a tad longer.

well last year I was putting them on 5 or 6 pm and had lovely warm water by 8am I can't remember the exact temperature but it was warm which is all I wanted
