alcohol

have been told to add pure alcohol to water in tank to stop freezing is this true? if so how much should i add per litre?

I think I might try alcohol if this weather don't improve soon .............. I reckon a bottle of JD a day should do it.  ;D
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

A 10% mix in your tank should do the trick...

It seems a bit of a waste to me.  Can you mix it with coke?  How much does it cost and where do you get it from?

I always find a sense-of-humour is the best gift when times are difficult.  And we've also got the search facility. 

And what about that stuff people were going on about a year-or-two ago...

Isopropanal or something?  What' happened to that?  Didn't it work?

Yes it's good to have a laugh but the majority of answers are not sensible ones..........and not particularly funny either.
Maybe we need another part on cleanitup for comedians to exchange gags!! Perhaps they would get it out of their systems then
