Looks like I totally misunderstood the first thread, my idea has nothing to do with micro environments. Our idea is to utilise waste energy from the exhaust system on the vehicle and increase the temperature of the tanks fitted into the van / landy.

That shows a bit more initiative.

My RO is in an insulated box in the garage, it is being kept warm by a 25w light bulb.  It's -1 outside but it is +15 in my RO cabinate.  If I wanted to go OTT I could wire in a thermostat and save more money on electricity.
Having said all that, I still can't make any water cos my hose pipe is frozen. But atleast my RO is safe .................. Just hope the bulb doesn't blow lol
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.
