Hi Guys
Im down here in South Africa and I have Just bought a pressure washer and what Ive been told is a Whirlaway. Machine is 13.5 HP at 13.5 L/M. I operate a WFP company and decided to add this service as there are thousands of driveways here and nobody offering this service.
Did our first job today and although the machine seems powerful enough I was a bit disaapointed with the end results. I used a turbo nozzle to remove heavy lumps of cement and then went over the area with the Whirlaway.
The problem area was were the builders had been mixing cement without putting heavy plastic down to protect the surface. When we had finished the paveing was still discolored.
There was also swirl lines were the rotary had missed.
The nozzles on the rotary seem very small, can you get larger ones and would they make any difference? Also would it be beneficial to treat the surface prior to the wash with some sort of chemical?
Any advice appreciated.
Colin
