Help with machine please
« on: November 26, 2010, 02:27:27 pm »
Hi Guys,

My machine has decided to pack up on me :'( and I can't get it serviced until next wednesday at the earliest and to make things worse I am fully booked next week!

Does anyone out there have a back up machine that I could perhaps hire for a week ??? I really don't want to cancel any of these jobs.

I am using a Prochem Powermax so it could be any of the steempro machines.

I live in Wiltshire and will be happy to travel to collect.

Any offers will be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich.

Problem with the pump.

Just had a new one delivered and fitted but when turning on it wasn't running properly, best way to describe it is like when your car is running and should be ticking over at 1000 revs and it runs below it and stutters. At first was letting the water out without a loss of pressure. Did first job today after new pump was fitted and it just got worse until the point where it stopped altogether. Pump light is on but no sign of life from the pump.

Am going to have a look at it over the weekend to see if it could possibly by a air lock or loose connection but honestly don't think it is either. I am stumpted ???

Thanks for the kind offer Alan.

I have never used anything else other than a prochem machine how does it compare do you know? I have 3 full house cleans next week would it be powerful enough? Sorry for my ignorance.

Rich.

Rich they do a job quite well and if pushed you could do the work booked but obviously takes longer but as i say if you cant sort what i would call a proper machine(prochem/ashbys/alltec etc) out then it will get the job done.Regards Alan(i Have a truckmount so there is just a little difference obviously)
