uk commercial
« on: November 08, 2010, 02:02:16 pm »
speaking to an employee of theres today and it was telling me how he does the bupa care homes in the north east, he told me they charge 45 per home(iv seen a few and there quite a resonable size) and they give one man 1 hour and a half.

it seems there charging extremly low but expecting the work done with in there price structure which is resulting in .......many complaints.

they are picking up lots of work but with this kind of model its only time till the lose more than they gain me thinks?

It seems to be how the national or bigger companies work. Get the contract by going in cheap then do a quick, crap job! It probably works most of the time too as it seems that the quality of the work isn't a big factor for most of these bigger clients. However, it seems BUPA may see it differently & some of the others may begin to resent being ripped off more.

Can't stand that smarmy twot (tony) from UK commercial anyway, nor that Duncan thingy so as far as I'm concerned I hope they bomb out, big time! :-*

A lot of commercial customers have to take the lowest quote. The council does round here. Not much point trying to compete.
