Hi
Apply mild detergent solution or Microsplitter and blot, if no colour transfers then you may not be able to remove, if colour transfers keep gently follow this with an ammonia solution and blot

then rinse with cold water.

I would have to say unless this is a recent stain and one that has not been "played with" it may prove difficult.

Good luck

Best regards Nick

Guy,

As someone who cooks a lot of curries I would think your stain is unlikely to be chilli and more likely chilli concarne which means tomatoes.

The likelyhood of removal would depend on artificial colourings but chances are not good.

THe removal of chili or curry stains is often quite difficult, due to the amount of fat that is in the solution, To see this let the curry cool and you will see it floating on the surface. So remove the fat first with a solvent white spirit or a mixture of petroleum ethers, vacuum this away with your machine and then treat with a high pH pre spray, Most of the colour will come away with the fiirst treatment.  repeat and then leave to dry.
