dont bother using them or any marketing company,  ie yellow pages  yell.com,  if you want more work go knocking doors, put out flyers and have a web site, all the commercial i have got pharmacy, chippy, doctors, b and b and hotels, have come from either flyer whist out knocking or been googled,  i have just cancelled my yell advertisig as wasnt worth it

spend ur money on a well signed up van, and flyers and web site

I agree with Blue, having sold ad space for near on 20 years, I dont anymore.  Reason being is people are spending budgets on optimising and improving their own sites.  I stopped selling space probably 2 years ago, due to this reason.  Unless something is incredibly unique.........

i know from personall exp when i was a plumber spnd a fortune on market gets you no work,  cheap add in a local rag, loads off it

there are two types of people  googlers  who google everything they want and local paper/recommendation types

think about this,  if you want a trade or a service how do you find it?

I think they do leaflet drops as well but you may as well save your money go to a local printer and do the foot work your self and save the money

What do you get for that Wc?

to be honest i dont know, they didnt want to go through any details over the phone and it took me a 20 minute phone call to get very little info from them.

all i know at the mo is you can have a years membership or pay as you go - which is from £59 a month.

was told best to have a meeting to go through it all and they could even make up a package to suit my needs.

Sounds like they work according to a similiar policy to me and others on here.

Over the phone quoting doesnt generate a deal but face to face contact with the custards does.

I dont quote over the phone as a rule.

I am signed up with Bestof Stratforduponavon.  I have been listed for just over 6 months on their site. I am on the minimum tariff that they have.  They do glossy leaflet drops if you pay extra.  They drive around in a mini with a wrap on, if you pay extra they put your business on there. They give you a unique telephone number on the site that sits on top of your own line.  They can then give you details of how many calls they have generated for you and how many you actually answered. They put special offers that you have given them onto the site and advertise them on Facebook and Twitter. To be totally honest I wont renew after the 12 months, I have found the local free newspaper advert far more productive.  The site has generated me work, probably enough to just about cover the cost of the sign on and the monthly payments. You have to try these things to see if they work, you shouldn't dismiss something without trying it.
