HI Murkey

you are right about the back-up and service for sure..

its a shame the problem with john and co at woodbridge is they are into to many things

just look at there site, you know what happens when we try to juggle to much we do ok but not as good as we used too.

is saps  your energy, and emotions only big organisations with lots of staff and systems in place can multi task.

lets be honest we moan about most big providers of multiple services or supplies

they do nothing really well do they ,

but some do well i here guys moaning about Alltecs service , Prochem, Hydramaster, Ashbys, Chemspec, over 20 years  i have used and seen them all and they all have there  Pros and cons.

some have maybe 2 -3 service guys thats it and when  things go wrong we want it put right  next day, but then so does every one else/.

that may mean we have to wait, and parts have to be ordered etc etc,

you right the machine is noisey like a big lawn mower, my old spitfire 4.0 was the same was my old diesal truck until i got  a vivaro that was a big difference

but the machine fits fairly comfortable in a smaller van which is why i chose the promount rather  than a larger truckmount

however i see that Prochems blazer is a good fit for a smaller van that but it is slightly underpowered

NO JACKET FITS ALL me thinks...................

i am not that fussed if it goes quick or not,  if it does  i may well look at a scorpian as we do less carpets now and if you have a truckmount you need to be cleaning carpets every day with a min day rate of £300

or it isnt worth having, but they are useful for tile & grout which is another reason i am still in thinking mode .. ::)

any useful feeds apreciated buddies....

A noisy truckmount !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard a 20hp Promount and I didnt think it was noisy.
If you used to truckmounts then this certainly isnt noisy.
and we know noise attracts attention - so thats a good thing.

i am sure you will sell it eventually but at 6 k you may have to wait as most people know these are imported from the us and new they are 10 000 dollars so about £7000 and you can import them your self for about £400 plus an import tax bringing it up to about 7-7.5 k.

you will prob have more luck selling with a van so the buyer can drive away and start earning from it without the added expense of kitting a van out fitting etc

just my opinion but good luck

Hi Shaun

i will take that as critisism

you see woodbridge had other ideas for the guy who sold theres for a quick sale

a deal on a new en-cap, needless to say i have seen newer models in such a state

i would not want to buy,

recently MCS Harlow sold an 3-4 yr 18 hp and 53 reg high miles van for £10k

i saw it because the guy who baught the van and kit baught a wand off us

the machine looked well i am not going to say ................ you can guess .

The van was not high mileage, in fact, very low milage and everything was in fantastic condition and continues to run perfectly. I also bought it for well under 10k. The Renault Traffic 6 speed also came with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax, both van and truckmount had just been serviced and MCS kept the machine immaculate. The van alone was worth 5k. The package I bought came with hose reels and 3 sets of hoses, in fact it came with everything including ramp except a wand.

The wand I bought off you has since been sold and if you remember correctly you had to repair it and hiked the price when I arrived, bit poor after I had driven nearly 200 miles if I hadn't need a wand that day would have walked and found the whole experience unpleasant.

i like the slating now ...

that  wonder  wand was perfect other than the rubber seal that leaked under pressure and i did tell you that

i hope you sold it and got your money back i also said that you either love or hate these wands i did not like it that is why i sold it but i paid full price off amtech for mine

and it was hardly used i think it its a bit unfair to complain now.

and as for you TM i was not trying to say it was tat ....

just not in as good a condition as mine ..

all the best k

I did sell the wand and for the price agreed, which oddly enough was the price you said on the phone, not the price I paid  :-*. Not slating anyone, stating not slating.

I do strongly object that the van was high mileage, it wasn't and the condition is questionable, it isn't. Both van and machine were and still are in fantastic order and were very well looked after and maintained by MCS and continues to be by me.

I could have kept my mouth shut, as I did when I was called a time waster on another forum for not buying a truck mount I didn't even agree to buy! I understand that you both have something to sell and are looking for a buyer but bringing me into it is not only misleading but unfair on any potential buyer as you do suggest that my TM was in poor condition, to be honest it couldn't have been much better and the van is immaculate.

Can we delete all this crap now and let you get on with selling your TM?
