Whitefield School is situated at the southern end of the London Borough of
Barnet and also serves communities within the London Boroughs of Brent,
Camden and Harrow. The site was built in 1955 and refurbished in 1990, it
currently has 850 students on roll ranging from age 11 to 18 (including
the Sixth Form). Teaching and support staff numbers is approximately 130.
The School is looking for a single cleaning contractor to provide daily,
weekly, monthly and annual cleaning of all School premises which total
approximately 8 112 sqm.
The contract will be awarded to a single contractor with a contract start
date of 1.4.2011 for an initial 3 year period. TUPE is expected to apply
to this contract in relation to all cleaning operatives.
