Microfibre sponges for cleaning leather?

I had a pigmented leather suite to clean and it was pretty minging, I always use a sponge to clean and also check the integrity of the finish but the seats and arms were pretty bad and these bad boys really did it, there was dirt coming off that just wasn't touched by the sponge.

Where do you get those from, because I'm always willing to try different ideas.
I normally use a foaming bottle and MF cloth, and if that doesn't cut it then I start with soft brushes working my way up the scale to the point where I think damage might occur.

You do need to get them well lubricated  with foam as to make them 'skid' if they become too dry they 'can' peel the finish but that is worst case.

Don't worry I know what I'm doing. I've already had a couple that started to 'peel' as soon as the foam was applied and then gently rubbed around with my hand. but then you can normally have a good guess this is going to happen on inspection.

done 1 leather suite in 6 months,

I tend to give them all to the guys who share my unit ( X furnuture clinic)

I get may be 5-6 a month, I get 5-6 prs of curtains a month that's approx £2K less per month to find, there's a variety there but also you can sell to them same customers.

Still prefer to clean carpets but you can only put up with so much beige carpeting.

Just wondered, about 2 years ago everyone was into leather atm looks like hard floors, be interesting to see what's next but also if anyone is using these 'technologies and techniques' ?

I use them but not the sacrificial ones which were a bit too abrasive. I wet each area in turn with a damp towel, then apply foam and spread with my hands as shown by Andy A, then run over with the abrasive sponges. The resulting loose soiling is then removed with damp towels and followed by protection cream which is lightly buffed to remove any excess.

what kinda foam does everyone use? and where can we get the sponges from?

The "foam" I use is a liquid cleaner from LTT, the Strong, or the Maxi when really bad. Its the applicator that causes the foam, available from LTT.

I id my first lather suite yesterday for about 8 months.
I didnt use the microfibre sponge method as it was not all that bad, though I did go to the maxi strength in certain areas.

I too use towels to do the final wiping up of the residue, then a coat of protector with a clean cloth.

The last lot of sponges started breaking up as I was using them.

I find the microfibre sponges start to break up mostly when they are too dry. Got to keep them very wet or else you can strip the top coat very easily - not recommended!!!.

I opened a new batch yesterday and it foamed up just as it has before.
